Modica's Email2SMS service uses DKIM digital signatures when sending outbound emails, i.e. when we pass on SMS responses from a mobile to the Email2SMS users email address. This verifies that the email is from Modica and not from a faked email address. The use of DKIM, as well as SPF, further protects our clients from being sent malicious emails from a third party attempting to disguise their emails as being 'from' Modica's Email2SMS service does not currently use DKIM,

Email2SMS uses SPF records to avoid third parties being able to fake the sender email address on either our customer's outbound email2sms message or to fake their sender email address and send a message as being from Modica's email2sms service for inbound email2sms replies to our customer.
